Limonal City Dump

After Hurricane Mitch devastated Nicaragua in 1998, homeless families were taken to Limonal, a tiny patch of land between the cemetery and landfill of the city Chinandega.

Conditions have hardly improved since then with nearly 280 families living in dire poverty due to lack of basic human necessities.

Together Works Nicaragua, a 501c3 non-profit, has partnered with local churches of Chinandega and Limonal by providing funding for food and other basics to help those who need it most in Limonal.

See togetherworksnicaragua.com for more details and how to help.
